Apple’s most recent iOS release, iOS 8.1.1, kills the Pangu jailbreak, but a few days back, we’d seen a demo of an untethered iOS 8.1.1 jailbreak from iH8sn0w. Chinese company Taig has now released an untethered jailbreak that claims to work with iOS 8.1.1 and even iOS 8.2 beta.
It isn’t known if the jailbreak is based on iH8sn0w’s exploit, but for now it’s wise to proceed with caution, as Taig is known for running an app store with pirated apps in China. The name Taig might be familiar to you, as it was the center of controversy when this pirated app store was bundled with evasi0n7, and later removed.
TaiG jailbreak is compatible with the following devices:
iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
iPad 4, iPad mini, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, iPad, iPad Air, iPad Air 2
iPod touch 5G
